Dear OpMo community, is it possible to downgrade or (reinstall) version 3, before buying version 4. By mistake i updated my app on macbook to version 4 and now i have option just to buy it or not using my version 3 licence. Best, Vili

I read that with OM 3, we have 2 activation's on 2 different computers using one at a time. Can these be 2 different OS, i.e., Windows laptop & Mac desktop? Thanks!

I have several requests, I am a user of Apple systems but my current Mac does not have a version of the operating system compatible with OPUSMODUS and to try it I have decided that I will buy a mini PC (Windows 11) with 16G of Ram and 512Gb SSD from scratch. I would like to know if after using Osmodus and perhaps purchasing the license for Windows I wanted to buy a new Mac, will I be forced to buy a new license for the Apple system or can I switch from the Windows license to the Apple one in the future? (I ask because I would basically buy a Windows mini PC exclusively to be able to try OPUSMODUS). Advice?

Hi, I own an Opusmodus 3 licence, running on 2 of my Macs. With the new possibility for using Windows I need 2 supplementary licences. Must I buy a new complete Opusmodus, or is there a possibility for getting 2 more licences? If I have to buy a completely new licence, I want to do it with my account (no new email adress). The actual conditions being ideal for this kind of transaction, I'd wish to do it very soon. Thanks for a quick reponse. Arthur

Hello! I have a serial key for 2.1. I haven't used it until then cause I'm on M1 mac. It doesn't work for 3.0. Do I need a new one?

Hey team. Very excited to try opus modus now that it's on Windows. It's a little hard to get into, as the assistant is unable to load pdfs with function descriptions, etc. When I load them in a new assistant window, I get a popup asking if I'd like to open or save the file. If I chose open, it opens in my web browser, and save just downloads the file. There is no way to get it to show up in the assistant that I can see. If I don't select open in new window, the file simply doesn't load. Please help, thanks!

This seems like an amazing tool and I'm excited to get a lot out of this. I'm glad to see the Windows version has come into existence. Thank you to everyone for putting in all of that hard work.

Hypothetical Question for @opmo Maybe is not yet decided, but, If I were to buy a temporary cheap Mac machine and a full OM Mac licence, then later on, once windows port of OM is available, would I need to pay again for the win version of OM to run on my fast win machine?

Hi. I've got a few questions before I buy the current version: Looking over the forum history, I see mention of a 4-month grace period for no-cost upgrades after purchase. Is this still the case? I see that a new version release is imminent. How imminent is the new version release? Can multiple versions coexist on a machine? If I were to buy 2.2 now, and 2.3 (or will it be 3.0?) is released, can both be run or does the newer version supersede the previous version and prevent it from launching? Thank you, Jon S

Hi all! I've been digging into the documentation for Opusmodus and am super excited to try it out. I opened it once a few days ago, and decided not to start the 30 day trial period yet, since I knew I wouldn't be able to take time to use it until later in the week. When I opened it again today, I was unable to start my trial period, as the start dialogue simply says "Demo not available". Is there anything I can do in order to start a trial?? I'm on a 2019 16" Intel Macbook Pro running macOS 10.15.7, if that's helpful 🙂 Thanks, Isaac

I've been watching some of the demonstration videos where the composer "orchestrates" the sounds for instruments like strings and gets immediate feedback on how it sounds. Is this using a sampler that is built into Opusmodus or something else? If something else, how can I get that?

Hi, I own version 1.3, but it doesn't work anymore on Catalina 10.15.4. Therefore I'd like to install and work with Opusmodus 2.0 for a few days until I can afford the upgrade. But I get the message that the "Demo Period expired". How that? I've just only have installed it and not tried. Kind regards, Ulrich

I know this was discussed years ago, but with the changes in MacOS with the porting of programs from iOS to Mac desktop and vice versa, and now the new generation iPads pretty much being touted as laptops, is there any chance of OpusModus being ported to iOS iPad?

I'm thinking of purchasing opusmodus and I'd like to take advantage of the current sale price. However, it is the case I am running the Catalina Beta on the laptop I'd like to use primarily to run the software. I've downloaded the trial version... but it does not seem to be working properly on Catalina. How soon do you think you'll be supporting Catalina?

After a few days of testing and reading I'm starting to understand the power of OpusModus. What would be beneficial to me (and perhaps other new users) is a collection of relatively simple scores. I see references to such scores in the forums, but I cannot find them. Perhaps they are not available in the newer versions of OpusModus? Here is an example of a score I cannot find:
