Posted September 13, 20213 yr Probably spoiled by modern text editors, I was wondering if there's a way to customize keyboard shortcuts. I have checked Editor Commands in Help tab but found it really baffling. Can I change the keybinding somewhere? And what on earth am I supposed to do to type in things like M-<whatever> or C-<whatever> to trigger the commands?
September 14, 20213 yr The Editor Command in Help menu are CCL (Emacs) shortcuts but they will work in OM. There is no possibility to customise the Opusmodus shortcuts (GUI) commands at present.
September 14, 20213 yr Midi Entry provides some interesting ways to do some shortcuts like opening parenthesis, entering rhythms (t s e q h w) , etc.
September 14, 20213 yr M = option key C = control key Example: M-n = option-n C-M-q = control-option-q

I searched online and found M (meta) usually refers to the cmd key on mac and was very confused since many of them would conflict with other commands in Opusmodus. My question is, then, what is "Alt" in the Editor Commands sheet? Is it also the option key? Is there any plan to add the custom shortcuts feature in future versions of Opusmodus?
September 14, 20213 yr "Alt" on Mac is option key. 8 minutes ago, YiyangW said: Is there any plan to add the custom shortcuts feature in future versions of Opusmodus? I would say yes.
September 14, 20213 yr If you are familiar with Emacs editor you can also use it with Opusmodus, it works very well. SB.
