Dear Friends,

I have a suggestion to Opusmodus. Maybe a Midi In Collect funcionality could be handy.

For example, the possibility to plug in a midi controller and collect data, for example, pitches

from the midi in.  Chords could be collected already with syntax, i.e., like (c4e4g4) and melodies like (c4 e4 g4).

A function could transform a midi input in lenghts, like c=1/16, d=1/8, or something like this.

Or even a simple DAW=like recorder (with metronome) to get some motifs and transform it in OMN.

If you begin working with pre-defined  material, the things can go long.

Just some ideas...

Best,

Julio

      Hi,
is there a print function for the midi display?
At the moment I am using "zoom to fit" in fullscreen mode and then make a screenshot but this is a little cumbersome ...

      Hello!

I have been trying the new MIDI Entry system. Data can be seen in Opusmodus as long as a key is pressed, but vanishes when key is released. Note values seem to stick, but not note names, attributes or volumes.

My keyboard is M-Audio Keystation 88 Pro. In MIDI Monitor I can see that this keyboard does not send note off messages, but instead note on with zero value when key is released. I guess that this is normal behaviour in any keyboard. Anyway, this second note on wipes off the data that came in with the first note on.

I appreciate any suggestions that might help!

      Best wishes,

      Henry
