Wim Dijkgraaf
I'm new to the OpusModus IDE and project/file structure. As a senior programmer my version control system (mainly GIT and TFVC) with a proper version control / branching strategy is an import friend. Any ideas/experience in applying version control on OpusModus scripts while composing? Big hug, Wim Dijkgraaf
Stephane Boussuge
when composing, you can use the navigator in the workspace for stock all the version of your piece, you can do my-piece 1.01, my-piece 1.02 etc... It is generally the way i use when composing with opusmodus. SB.
TomTolleson
Hi @Wim Dijkgraaf- I'm using git and just do a standard commit from the folder my workspace an .opmo files are in once I update files. I use OM on two different machines so version control is essential to me not going crazy. Also, my supporting python files (and the music21 library). I think a git integration might be a cool feature and save some time. I doubt it's a high priority though because there are workarounds (like mine). Hope that helps.
