How to make color preferences permanent in Windows version

Featured Replies

Noobie here. I can't figure out how to make the color choices I'd like permanent in the latest Window version. Any solution would be very welcome. Thanks!

Thanks, but that doesn't work for test. I made a nice blue background with white text and all was well until the next time I booted up. Everything was good -- all my color choices were there except the text, which reverted to black.

Ah, I figured it out. The OM pop-up menu that offers the user the option to choose light or dark mode isn't a choice. What it means is that the color palette is one which will suit whether the operating system (in this case Windows) is in light or dark mode. So, when I reconfigured Windows to dark mode, I got the text in white and could configure the other colors to my taste. Perhaps this might be made clear in Section 11.2.1.3 in the manual. In any case, thanks!!!
