I have just upgraded to v4.0, based on the comments I've received, stating that export of MusicXML and MIDI are available.

I am running OpusModus 4.0 in Windows 11.

I need to export both MusicXML and MIDI from a score.

In the macOS version, there is File → Export → MusicXML / MIDI in the Notation window.

In the Windows version, those menu items do not appear.

Question: What is the correct method for exporting MusicXML and MIDI in the Windows build of v4?

(Is there a function call, command, toolbar button, or preference setting I should use?)

I have already compiled a score and displayed it in the Notation panel.
However, in the Windows version of v4 there is no Save As / Export option in the Notation panel menu, even though the manual shows one.

Can you please confirm whether MusicXML export is currently implemented in the Windows version, or is it only available on macOS at this time?

Thank you.

the function 'save as' is grayed out in the Notation Viewer. That is what i have been trying to convey, and why I'm just trying to ask the question: "how do I export either a MusicXML file, or a MIDI file (presumably both are to be initiated from the Notation Viewer)???

I upgraded to this version for this promised functionality only. I'd like an honest answer, as there seems to be no support to your attestations. I have searched exhaustively. So has AI on my behalf, including OpusModus ChatGTP. There is nothing that supports this claim. In the spirit of what most would call support, I'd welcome an answer, timely or not at this point.

You are the only user who cannot figure out how to import MusicXML into OMN or export an Opusmodus score to MusicXML.

The import and export options can be found in the Notation Grid menu, as shown in the images above.

As I mentioned before, I recommend taking a lesson with Stephane to learn how to do it.

First of all, your response is rude. Is this the kind of belittling customer support that YOU would like to receive? Screenshot attached. Further ... suggesting that a customer take lessons in order to compensate for lack of documentation is poor form.

I'm giving you this screenshot. Tell me what is wrong with my observations.

Hello,

Υou can export a MIDI file by selecting 'Evaluate Score' in the MIDI player (Alt+Ctrl+2).
