V2 on High Sierra (OSX 10.13)

Recommended Posts

Hi, I just upgraded OpusModus from version 1.2 to version 2.0. Unfortunately when starting Opusmodus I get the following error message and

nothing else happens:

> Error: The function double is predefined by Opusmodus.
> While executing: ccl::cerror-if-redefine-om, in process Opusmodus Extension Initialization(5).
> Type cmd-/ to continue, cmd-. to abort, cmd-\ for a list of available restarts.
> If continued: Replace the definition of double.
> Type :? for other options.

OK. before I installed V2, I deleted the folder OpusModus as recommended when upgrading from 1.2 to 2.0. But now I do not see any folder Opusmodus after installation of V2 any more. I then restored the folder Opusmodus from my Backup HD but the problem still exists.

I'm sure I downloaded V2 for my correct OSX (NOT Catalin).

Thanks for any help !

Just delete the DOUBLE function from the Extensions folder - it is only an example.

The other thing you need to do is to delete the 'Quick Start' directory from your Opusmodus folder.

After you can reinstall a new Quick Start workspace from the Help menu.

Thanks for your answer.
However, the problem still exists.
My actions:
a) Delete function double in Opusmodus folder in file "Source Code.opmo" (file is now empty)
b) Tried to execute the following steps according post 20 Aug. 2015 and answered by Janusz Podrazik:
c) How to update the Quick Start folder in Opusmodus 1.1
In Opusmodus 1.1 you will find 2 new items in the 'Help' menu bar:
'Install Quick Start Workspace’ and 'Open Quick Start Workspace'.
To install the updated 'Quick Start' version do the following:
      1. Close the 'Quick Start' workspace if open.

      2. Quit the Opusmodus app.
      3. Delete the 'Quick Start' folder from your ~/Opusmodus folder which you will find in your home directory.
      4. Start the Opusmodus app.
       5. Go to 'Help' menu and select 'Install Quick Start Workspace'
       6. Press OK
        7. The new 'Quick Start' workspace will open.
Every time you wan’t to open the Quick Start workspace, simply select 'Open Quick Start Workspace' from the Help menu.

Unfortunatly, the option "Install Quick Start Workspace" in the Help menu is grayed out and cannot be executed !
I assume this is because, when I open Opusmodus the following error message still pops up immediatly:

Opusmudus Extension Intialization(5)
> Error: The function double is predefined by Opusmodus.
> While executing: ccl::cerror-if-redefine-om, in process Opusmodus Extension Initialization(5).
> Type cmd-/ to continue, cmd-. to abort, cmd-\ for a list of available restarts.
> If continued: Replace the definition of double.
> Type :? for other options.

Interestingly in the Help menu the option "Open Quick Start Workspace" is enabled and can be executed (workspace is opened) although I deleted the directory Quick Start in Opusmodus folder.
Perhaps you can send me a clean Opusmodus folder for Mac ?
I run out of ideas. Or perhaps we could analyse the problem using Team viewer ?
My Opusmodus version: Version 2.0.25787 (2.0.25787)
