  1. I don't know if this is already covered, but I've been experiencing weird behaviours with different instances of LCI's until I created different Buses, one for each of the LCI's. I was experiencing note-off messages each time I was evaluating scores or when each loop reached it's end. By creating different buses now each loop runs perfectly without interruptions. Also, In the previous post I said that there's almost no delay with the auto triggering app, but there's almost 0.3 s in delay from the firs sequence to the last (4th). As I use Ableton there's always the option to compensate the delay per track. Also with a M4L device it's something pretty simple to correct.
  2. Ok, so until we have any kind os sync between different LCI workspaces, I've found a workaround by using a mouse automation app. The one I've downloaded that seems to work pretty well is Auto Mouse Click (murgaa.com). You can create lists of mouse actions including positions, clicks and repetitions, and also you can define the delay in milliseconds between each action or retrigs. There's almost no delay (also can be defined) and all the different workspaces start at the same time. I know it's a bit "rustic" aproach, but it works. Best!
  3. I've seen that video. Very inspiring! In that video, as music is more "atonal and experimental" it doesn't matter if the different tracks go out of sync. I was thinking about live coding for example an string quartet, with the same tempo for each voice, but not working in a single workspace for the 4 voices but 4 different spaces, each one for a different voice. By doing this we could manipulate one voice and update it while the others are still playing in sync. As the live coding workspaces have the option to update on bar count or beats, I guess that all the LCI with the same tempo will be playing in time. An small solution could be a way to start all the live coding spaces at the same time. Maybe a global start command, or a midi message to trigger all of them ... Just guessing, but I think it could be a HUGE step for live performances ...
  4. Any news on how to sync 2 different live coding scores? Or how to start playing different Live Coding scores at the same time? Or I ask for another possible solution... How can I be editing a score in Live Coding where, for example, there are 2 voices, and I want to modify only one and have the second continue playing? I understand that this is only possible by making 2 different scores and running 2 separate Live Coding windows, but it may be possible to do this with only one Live Coding window. I'm just guessing... Best!
  5. Hi! Sorry for being so annoying with all those questions ... Is there a way to play different scores in Live Coding mode and get them synchronised? I'm playing different scores with individual instruments at the same tempo, and it's pretty difficult to launch each score in time with the others ... Thanks!
  6. Thanks a lot Stephane! I’ll have a look today as soon as I’m back at my studio.
  7. Hi! I'm creating an instrument library for all the VSL Woodwinds instruments. In several DEF-SOUND-SET examples I have, I see different articulation combinations, but I don't know how to recall the without an error message. I've been only capable of using the OM articulation combinations, like "long+stacc", or "short+vib", ... etc. For example, how can I use in an OM score the "fl1-perf-marcato" articulation included in the following DEF-SOUD-SET? (def-sound-set vi-flute1 :supports-mts t :programs (:group perf-universal fl1-perf-leg-sustain (:key c2 cc1 30) fl1-perf-marcato (:key c2 cc1 80) :group perf-trill-speed fl1-perf-legato-trill (:key cs2) :group articulation-combi fl1-staccato (:key d2 :key c1 cc1 30) fl1-sus-vib (:key d2 :key cs1 cc1 30) fl1-pfp-vib-3s (:key d2 :key d1 cc1 30) fl1-fp-vib (:key d2 :key ds1 cc1 30) fl1-flatter (:key d2 :key e1 cc1 30) fl1-trill-1 (:key d2 :key f1 cc1 30) Thanks!
  8. Thanks for your reply! Actually, what I need is to send the generated score to a physical player, not to a DAW. In other words, I want real players to play the scores generated in real time from OM by showing them the pieces they have to play.
  9. Hi. is there a way to view the generated scores when doing live coding in OM in real time in other devices like, let’s say, an iPad? Do I need a separate app in MAC to do this? I would like to generate sounds within the computer and send scores to other players at the same time. thanks a lot! Ivan
  10. Well, what I'm planning to do is far more complex. I'm training an AI models with images. Then, for a live performance, I will place a camera and the system will recognise the shapes. Different shapes (dots, geometric figures, color, B&W, ... etc) will generate different values, and depending on those values the sound generated will be different. That's why I thought about executing lines of code inside OM remotely, because it could be an incredible way to generate non static musical lines live. I basically need a way to put the cursor mark in certain position of the OM score and send the OM "execute command". Do you think there could be a way to do this? Thanks!
  11. Hi! I’m new to Opusmodus but I think it is one of the most amazing software programs I’ve ever used. It just blowed my mind with the possibilities it has. Although I still don’t know how to do anything but simple things, I would like to ask you if there’s a way to remotely execute lines of code via MIDI or OSC messages. That would be an incredible feature! Thanks a lot and forgive me if I start to open new topics with weird questions! ivan
